Osteopathy at your Workplace

ONSITE OSTEOPATHIC SERVICES

OVERVIEW

WorkplaceOsteo offers tailored onsite osteopathy solutions to employers looking to support the wellness of staff and reduce the cost of injuries in the workplace.
Our aim is to provide your staff early access to a safe and effective form of injury treatment, decreasing the likelihood of ongoing injury and worsening of symptoms.
We establish Onsite Osteopathic services based on the needs of each of our clients.  Our Onsite Osteopathic service provides your staff with great ‘hands-on’ treatments, access to workstation ergonomic risk assessments and individually prescribed exercises to promote good work health.

ONSITE OSTEOPATHIC CONSULTATIONS

Onsite Osteopathic consultations are designed to help prevent, treat and manage workplace injuries.  Our practitioners establish objective clinical measures in order to assess the efficacy of our treatments.  Using evidence-informed approaches to treatment and clinical management, we deliver a high quality of service to your staff.  We discuss goals with our clients so we can both evaluate the effectiveness and quality of service provided to your staff.

EARLY ACCESS TO TREATMENT

WorkplaceOsteo will be able to provide an onsite service that is easily accessible for employees.  We believe that Early Intervention strategies based in the workplace can prevent discomfort and minor symptoms progressing to an injury.  Strategies like Early Access to Onsite Osteopathy consultations can result in a quicker recovery process from injuries and symptoms .  By minimizing the need to seek treatment elsewhere, employees can maintain engagement at work and therefore improve their workplace productivity.

WorkplaceOsteo Osteopaths undertake training in assessing workplace ergonomics and treating common workplace conditions.
All WorkplaceOsteo Osteopaths hold current registration with AHPRA.

COMMUNICATION

As per Osteopathic practice in a private setting, communication between osteopaths and their patients is paramount.  With the consent of the individual staff member, our Osteopaths will provide updates to the relevant members of your organization or other external healthcare practitioner if required.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO WE PROVIDE?

We believe that the effectiveness of our Onsite Osteopathy services can be increased when we use our skills to perform ergonomic assessments on employees that utilise our service.
This can be performed when demand for osteopathic consultations is low or as a separate service.  If required, we can prioritise ergonomic assessments for staff members deemed to be at an elevated need for assessment.  Ergonomic assessments can help correct body mechanics, and reduce the likelihood of future workplace injury or symptoms.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

Initiating an Onsite Osteopathy Service may not be as costly as you may think.  All businesses are different and have different needs, so please call or email us to discuss how we can help you specifically.

ARE THERE OFFSITE ARRANGEMENTS?

Although our osteopaths may also work in a private practice setting, to provide priority services to staff from our clients privately may be considered a conflict of interest.  This is especially pertinent if those staff members have injuries that eventuate into a Worker’s Compensation Claim.
Provided appropriate consent is gained, our Osteopaths can communicate with other treating healthcare practitioners, ensuring great care of your staff members and their complaints.
